The effect of seaweed fiber spunlace non-woven fabric (mask fabric)
Seaweed fiber is a fiber made from alginic acid extracted from some brown algae plants in the ocean (kelp, kelp, sargassum, etc.). This fiber can be blended with other fibers, and the
spunlace non-woven fabric has far-infrared radiation function. Generally speaking, as long as 15% to 30% of seaweed carbon fiber is used, it has good far-infrared radiation efficiency. At the same time,
seaweed fiber is also a natural fiber without any additives.
The
seaweed fiber mask fabric has a silky smooth soft and skin-friendly feel. The 10% content of seaweed fiber mask fabric has a very good antibacterial effect, and the antibacterial rate against common bacteria such as Escherichia coli reaches 93%. Seaweed fibers cannot be dyed, so there is no residual problem of dyes. Since seaweed fibers are spun based on natural substances, they are also very biocompatible.
Seaweed fiber is not only pure natural fiber but also has the function of adsorbing a large amount of heavy metal ions. Because seaweed fibers can absorb a large number of metal ions to form conductive chains, which can improve the aggregation performance of macromolecular chains. When used in the manufacture of mask fabric, it has the functions of
cleansing the skin,
adsorbing heavy metals, far-infrared radiation, and negative ion radiation.
Proyons Bio-Tech uses 30% seaweed fiber as the blending ratio, and cooperates with 70%
Tencel fiber to enhance the overall strength of the fabric. Currently, there are two types of fabric thicknesses of 30gsm/60gsm. Similarly, we can also use 100% seaweed fiber for pure spinning. 100% pure natural functional mask fabric will be another good choice for high-end mask product.
